Scrap iron, which is used as raw material, is melted into liquid steel at electric arc furnaces. The liquid steel is transferred from electric arc furnaces to ladle furnaces and, following the necessary alloying processes in these for achieving the targeted quality, conveyed to continuous casting machines from ladle furnaces. In the machines, it is turned in to semi-finished products of steel ingots after being cut in desired dimensions between 100*100 and 200*200. Semi-finished products of steel ingots which receive approval after quality control analyses are then delivered to rolling mills for production of reinforcing bars and wire rods.
