- This is produced after basalt, a locally obtained inorganic raw material, is melted at 1350°C to 1400°C and turned into fiberglass.
 
- Depending on the place and purpose of use, it can be produced in the form of blankets, panels, pipes or casted with various dimensions, technical features and coating materials.
- It is used for heat insulation, sound insulation, acoustic arrangement and fire insulation purposes.
- Its thermal conductivity value is λ ≤ 0,040 W/mK.
- The water vapor diffusion resistance factor is μ=1.
- Its use temperature is between -50 and +600 or +650°C.
- Its dimensions do not change even if they are exposed to heat and moisture.
- It does not degrade, decompose, become moldy, corroded or rusted in time. It cannot be damaged by insects and microorganisms. - It is not hygroscopic or capillary.
- It is in class A of “non-flammable materials” according to EN 13501-1.
- It is produced under the license of Saint–Gobain Isover Grünzweig+Hartmann Germany Sillan.
- It is produced in facilities with the ISO 9001 Quality Assurance System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and OHSAS and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certificates given by BVQI.
- İzocam Rockwool products subject to TS 901-1 EN 13162 Standard are allowed to bear the CE mark within scope of the Regulations on Construction Materials (89/106/ EEC).
